Through 16 life-size scenes and over 35 wax figures, the museum tells the incredible story of the humble priest now known around the world.

The experience also offers a unique glimpse into 19th-century French life and the religious and social history of the time.

April to June & September:

October to March:

Accessibility & Parking

On the A6 motorway coming from Lyon towards Paris, in Villefranche-sur-Saône, take exit 31-2 then follow Jassans-Riottier.
Coming from Paris, take exit 31-1 then follow Bourg/Jassans-Riottier-Ars.

For cars, three parking lots are available:

Pavement parking at Place Freihalden, opposite the medical center
Earth parking, accessible from Chemin du Bois de la Dame
Pavement parking in front of the semi-subterranean church meadow, on Rue Jean-Marie Vianney

For coaches:

Parking along Chemin de la Percellière, designated for touring coaches.

It is also possible to come by bus or bicycle!
